Serial numbers for shapes collec-tion / packs If you have a vector shape and you just want to turn it into a raster layer go to the layers menuand select ‘convert to raster layer’ When you apply an effect or somedestructive option, you will see the following dialog appear asking whether or not you want to rasterize the vectorshapeįig. To create as a raster shape in the firstplace, simply de-select the create asvector command in the preset shapes tooltool optionsįig. Or you can convert the layer to a raster layer via the layers menu > convert to raster layerįig. The shapes are resolution free (though the mate-rials are not) and you might like to apply various effects or modify the color of the shapeīy unchecking the preset shapes option to ‘create as vector’ the design is created as a rasterized design, effects etc can be applied (such as blurs, etc)Īlternatively, leave the design as a vector and then when applying any effect such as a blur, a dialog will appear and asks whether or not you want to convert the layer to a raster layer. Place designs in the preset shapes folder (the exact locationdoes vary from version to versionand perhaps with Windows 7, it will all change again!!) This is one possible folder for the installation (please check the file > preferences > file locations section for preset shapes) and place the JSLor PSPshape files in that folder.
